Since 1989

1989 _ Dr. Peter Fischer Management Beratung is founded, focusing on challenging management topics and executive coaching.

1990 _ We discover a strategic niche within the field of Leadership Transition. The company grows rapidly, becoming renowned in the field.

1993 _ Dr. Peter Fischer's book "Neu auf dem Chefsessel" is published in German (subsequent English title: The New Boss: How to Survive the First 100 Days).

1996 _ We expand our portfolio to include various services in the field of Change Management. Dr. Fischer Management Beratung becomes "fgi Fischer Group International".

1998 _ We take the first steps towards internationalization with partners in the United States and develop the "Transatlantic Bridge" program.

2004 _ A total of 20 senior consultants work for fgi. Our expertise ranges from Executive Coaching through Leadership Programs all the way to Change Management.

2010 _ Cultural topics and issues play an ever greater role in our projects. In order to address these topics more systematically and in greater detail, we establish the fgi Research Institute for organizational culture.

2012 _ We intensify our activities in Switzerland by establishing a local operating team in order to ensure systematic and continuous on-site support for our clients.

2017 _ fgi is opening up a new business area with DigitalSolutions. Online-based products for leadership and change topics allow executives and managers to access fgi's specialized know-how in a bundled, digital format.

2019 _ a team of five partners is taking strategic and operational responsibility for fgi. Peter Fischer takes the role of head of Advisory Board for fgi.
